A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has appointed Lorena Dunne as a partner in its Asset Management & Investment Funds practice. 
 
Lorena has extensive experience advising a range of leading international asset managers on the establishment and ongoing operation of investment funds in Ireland. She has significant expertise in advising on EU sustainable finance regulation. Lorena is a long-standing member of the ESG Policy, Legal and Regulatory Working Group of Irish Funds, the Irish funds industry association. She also represents Irish Funds on the International Investment Funds Association ESG Working Committee.

Lorena joins ALG’s Asset Management & Investment Funds practice led by Stephen Carson.  Stephen recently became head of the practice group, succeeding Brian McDermott in July of this year. Brian continues to be a senior partner in our Asset Management & Investment Funds practice.

About Lorena Dunne 
Lorena qualified as a solicitor in 2010. She also holds a Masters in International (including Environmental and Human Rights) Law from the University of Cambridge. 
 
Lorena is internationally recognised in the industry having been ranked as an ‘Expert Abroad’ by Chambers Global 2023 and as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ by Legal 500 UK. Lorena has also sat on a number of groups and committees, notably the ESG Policy, Legal and Regulatory Working Group of Irish Funds and the International Investment Funds Association ESG Working Committee. She has also sat on 100 Women in Finance Dublin Chapter and the Green Team Network steering committee.
