CWSI kicks off as Wicklow LGFA sponsor

CWSI, Ireland’s most experienced mobile and cloud security specialist, is today announcing its sponsorship of Wicklow LGFA, the current Ladies’ Gaelic Football All-Ireland Junior Champions.

The sponsorship will help Wicklow LGFA to recruit and retain young women in sport, and will also contribute to the provision of essential services such as physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, and training weekends. CWSI branding will appear on team water bottles and boot bags, and players will also be available to attend talks at CWSI company events.

Ladies’ Gaelic Football is the biggest female sport in Ireland and growing. Wicklow LGFA has over 3,000 registered players and members.

The Junior champions will be playing for the Intermediate title in this year’s All-Ireland Championship campaign. Former Wicklow footballer Leighton Glynn was recently announced as the Intermediate Manager for 2022.

Leighton Glynn, Intermediate Manager, Wicklow LGFA: “Wicklow LGFA are delighted and very grateful to have CWSI as a valued sponsor. The generous sponsorship has really helped the team with their preparations for the Intermediate All Ireland championship.”

Mickaella Glynn, Head of Company Operations & People Experience, CWSI: “We are thrilled to announce this sponsorship as we believe it’s so important to encourage young women in sport. We are delighted to be able to help Wicklow LGFA to do just that as their fundraising efforts have been significantly curtailed over the past two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We wish the panel every success in the upcoming Championship campaigns.”
