Airfield Estate is a self-funded charitable trust. All of our income is used to run the estate and invest in the future so future generations can enjoy it.
Our mission is to inspire people to refresh their connection with food and the land that produces it.
Airfield Estate is a 38-acre working farm, gardens, visitor attraction and events venue which provides a truly Irish, agricultural experience like no other.
Located in the village of Dundrum, Airfield Estate is open daily from 9.30am.
Key things not to be missed at Airfield Estate
The House - Orginally owned by the Overend family, the heritage experience explains who they were but more importantly, what they were. Pioneering, adventurous, caring, driven, visionary and inspiring. We learn a lot from them every day. Their spirit lives on.
The Farm - We've got chickens, goats, donkeys, Jersey cows, sheep and a beautiful Connemara Pony to name a few. The farm also produces meat, milk and eggs daily to Overends Restaurant.
The Gardens - Our gardens aim to be both pretty and productive throughout the year. They integrate areas for relaxation and recreation whilst also supplying Overends Restaurant with seasonal vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers.
The Vintage Car Garage - Home to the Overend's personal cars including Letitia's 1927 Rolls-Royce, Naomi's prized Austin Tickford and their mum's little Peugeot Quadrilette.
Naturescape - The adventure playground for 4-12 year old's with a 27 metre zip line, climbing structures, balance beams and rolling hills.
The Grey Barn - The indoor play area for 0-4 year olds with interactive areas including a cooking unit, thatched cottage and market stall.
Woodland Walk - During the redevelopment of Airfield Estate in 2013, we planted over 2,000 native varieties of trees in the woodland area. A lovely space for some tranquil peace and quiet.
Overends Restaurant - Open daily and using much of the estate's produce on the menu, this is a real field to fork food experience not to be missed.

Airfield Estate is about blue skies, broad horizons, about the different, the unusual. We've a rich history that informs our approach. Yet we are far from stuffy. We don't really do stuffy!
What we do is engage, look for the possible and seek out how we might work together. This might be for an away day, a wedding or a team function, but at the heart of everything, we want to make experience together, drawing on our unique environment, but also on the enormous enthusiasm we as a team possess. We simply create, innovate and let you enjoy.
