Sven Spollen-Behrens appointed  Director of the Small Firms Association

Sven Spollen-Behrens has been appointed the new Director of the Small Firms Association (SFA), effective from 1 September 2017.

He will have responsibility for strategy and overall management of SFA, lobbying, media and business queries. He will be the chief SFA spokesperson and chief government liaison.

The SFA is the trusted partner of 8,500 small business (less than 50 employees) in Ireland. Its mission is to deliver business-focused advice and insights to member companies, influence government policy to the benefit of small businesses and connect its members in a thriving community.

Mr Spollen-Behrens has extensive senior management experience, having led trade associations in Berlin, Brussels and Dublin. His background working on urban regeneration projects in Blackrock Village, DĂșn Laoghaire Town, Sligo and Sandyford has given him an in depth knowledge of the challenges facing small companies in Ireland
