Rachel Allen cookery demo fundraiser for LauraLynn and Blackrock Hospice

TV personlities join forces for evening fundraiser at Leopardstown Racecourse...

Two of Ireland’s top TV personalities, TV chef Rachel Allen and TV3’s Anna Daly, are joining forces to raise funds for LauraLynn and the Blackrock Hospice. Anna Daly will be master of ceremonies for Evening with Rachel Allen in the Pavilion at Leopardstown Racecourse on Wed 2 March 2016 . Rachel will be showing how to cook some of her favourite seasonal dishes and she and Anna should make it an unforgettable evening of food, banter and fun, with local artisan stalls and raffles galore.

The aim is to raise over €10,000 for the two charities involved and the event has been organised by Clif Lenehan, owner of the award-winning Fenelons Butchers in Stillorgan Shopping Centre. Clif, who started work in Fenelons in his teens and took over the business in 2007. said, “I was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago but thankfully have fully recovered. 50 years in business is a major milestone for any business nowadays and I wanted to celebrate this and my own continuing good health by giving something back to my local community and supporting these two charities with their fantastic work.”

Tickets for ‘An Evening with Rachel Allen’ with MC Anna Daly at 7.30 pm. on Wed 2nd March 2016 at the Pavilion in Leopardstown Racecourse, are €25.00 in-store but can also be booked online at www.fenelons.ie. Early booking advised.

Established in 1966, Fenelons Butchers employs 16 staff at its premises in Stillorgan Shopping Centre, Dublin. It is a certified member of the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland and current Irish champions in its National Spiced Beef Competition.  Fenelons was named amongst the top ten butcher shops in Ireland at the 2015/16 Star Shop Awards.
